Paint It Happy

Paint it happy! You may feel; what kind of name is this?

What is “it” that I am trying to paint, that too paint it “happy”? You would say there is no color named “happy” you nut!
You are correct, not that I am a nut but that there is no color named as “happy”.

So today I want to introduce this color to you. It is my pleasure to inform you that this is the color that makes us understand other colors. It is not one color, it is a rainbow of colors required to get the color called “happy”. It is the color of feeling, a color of satisfaction, a color with sound of sweet smiles. I would have claimed to be the discoverer of this, alas it is already known to many wise souls in this world. To be honest there is a wise soul sitting inside each one of us, so don’t ask me the names. By the way I am really bad with names and dates. 

Let’s start with a little imagination. Can you imagine the sparkle in a baby’s eyes on a single sight of his mother? Satisfactory smile on your parent’s face when you plant a kiss on their cheek before leaving for your work, smile on a rikshawalla’s face when you say a small thank you after reaching your destination. Have you ever smiled at the chhotu’s that serve you tea at very famous road side thaparies after you gulp down that strong cup of ginger tea? These are small things that we forget to do everyday. Or may be we are too big for these small gestures.

Now you would say….hey you are going off track. So the answer is no, I am not. I am still eager to let you know more about this color.
Have you wondered why when you have to go for certain important occasion, a number of suggestions suddenly comes pouring in? It may be a party, your interview, important meeting at work or a much awaited romantic date ;)
One always expects something positive out of all these occasions. Suggestions include; dress well, wear this color or that, ohh..! do not wear that color! That’s your lucky color. Keep smiling; let them feel you are happy and proud to be there. We do a lot of things to ensure the result of each venture is positive because we want to be happy. And most of the times outcome depends on the second person or other people in question.

We as in human race are emotional beings. We need our daily dose of good moments. We want to be appreciated, we want to be complimented, we need a word of encouragement when we feel down and when we are sad we need someone to bring us back to joys of life. And yes we need someone to love us when we feel lonely 
And when you get all these things my friend “life” looks colorful. And this color is color of happiness. So why not share this everyday dose. Let’s Paint our life Happy.

Yes the “IT” in my blogger name is life and I just want to paint my life happy by sharing the daily dose. I have already started this by sharing the mantra with all you good people reading my blog.

Believe me this is very easy. 
Smile more, learn to appreciate, give a helping hand, thank people for small gestures; a simple “thank you” may be a reason for a bright smile. Respect everyone from the cleaner who wipes all the grit from your desk everyday to the canteenwalla who serves you food at work. And the most importantly try to be HUMBLE.

I hope this gives you a little hope towards a colorful life. So let’s “Paint it happy”.

  2. Really inspiring......! If fact I have started enlisted the stationary (humbleness, kindness, understanding and such uncountable, inexpensive but priceless things) required to paint MY life happy (not being selfish, but logical. If I am not happy myself, how can I ignite an euphoric wave of happiness in others...
